GAME RULES

·         Each team will be allowed a 5 minute grace period at the scheduled start of the game.  If a delay past the 5-minute mark occurs, a two shot technical will be  
          assessed to the opposing team.

·         Each team must have at least 4 players to begin the game.  Any team who fails to have a least four players to start the game will forfeit. 

·         Each team will be allowed a 5 minute pre-game warm-up

·         Halftime will be 3 minutes in length

·         Each team will be allowed three 30 sec timeouts per half with no carryover

·         Free Throws are on the release.  The shooter must wait until it hits as well as players beyond the 3 point arc.

·         Teams will be in the bonus after the 10 foul, double bonus after the 12th foul.

·         Running clock when a team is ahead by 20 or more points. Once the score under 20 points the clock will again stop. 

·         30 point mercy rule. If a team is up by 30 points with 3 minutes left in the second half, the game will end on mercy rule
·         Timeouts - 1 full, 1 30 sec per half.

·         Rising 3rd, 4th and 5th – 12 minute halves

·         Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th – 14 minute halves

BALL SIZE

·         Rising Boys 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and all Girls will use 28.5

·         Rising Boys 7th and 8th will use 29.5

SCOREKEEPING & STATS

·         Each team will need a volunteer to manage the book or clock

·         Stats will be provided by the League

SPORTSMANSHIP

          Coaches are responsible for maintaining the conduct of the team and their fans. 

·         Coaches are to support the officials

·         Coaches are to maintain appropriate bench conduct

·         Coaches and players are to respect the integrity of the game

·         If a player or coach is assessed two technical fouls, they will be suspended for the next game.  Excessive technical fouls will result in dismissal from the league.

UNIFORMS

·         Teams are encouraged to have jerseys with both number on the front and back.  (This saves time for the officials when a foul occurs)

·         Home team will wear white or alternate light color.

·         Home team is listed first on the schedule

ALL TEAMS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP THEIR BOTTLES AND TRASH FROM THE BENCH AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE GAME.
